What is Prakriti?The word ‘Prakriti’ means nature. For example; a stone is very hard by its nature but wool is soft. They do not change their nature. Diamond is the hardest stone. Its hardness never fades by environmental or any periodic change because, hardness is its nature. Similarly every individual have their own specific nature which never change. From birth till death the individual possess the same nature which never changes, so this nature is defined as ‘Prakriti’. In Ayurved; Vata, Pitta and Kapha these three basic humors are said to be the creators of individual Prakriti.
